What is business coaching?

Business coaching is a structured, confidential relationship in which a trained coach helps a business owner set clear goals, make better decisions and follow through, usually over three to twelve months. A coach asks, challenges and keeps you accountable rather than running the business for you.

Sound familiar?

Do any of these ring a bell?

  • Busier than ever, but not growing?

Long hours and a full diary don’t always mean progress. Coaching helps you spend your time on what moves things on.

  • Every decision lands on you?

If nothing happens without you, it’s time to build a business that can run without you for a week.

  • A big change coming?

Hiring, expanding, launching something new or thinking about selling. It helps to have someone in your corner.

Questions

Your questions, answered

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. What we talk about stays between us, unless you say otherwise.

Can we do sessions online?

Yes. Most sessions are online, with in-person planning days in Brighton and around Sussex.

How long does coaching last?

We work in 90-day cycles. Most people stay for two to four cycles, but you can stop at the end of any of them.

How is coaching different from consulting?

A consultant mostly advises and does the work. A coach mostly helps you decide and follow through. We’ll always tell you which hat we’re wearing.
